According to WFP, residents of Sari Pul have lost 540 head of livestock and 2,100 jeribs of irrigated land due to flash floods and the agency has provided assistance to 1,850 flood affected families in 15 flood-affected villages in Sari Pul City, Sari Pul Province, since 2012.    

IOM re-supplying NFI stocks in northern region to prepare for any new emergencies.

Assessments in the districts of Sancharak, Gosfandi, Sozma Qala, Kohistanat still remains impossible pending completion of the minimum road and bridge rehab to allow rapid assessment teams to cross the river with vehicles.

Humanitarian assistance is provided to the affected people as further assessments are being conducted.  ANDMA and OCHA are coordinating the response.
